I tried goat yoga and what I thought about it.
During my trip to Los Angeles, California. I joined the goat yoga workshop organised by one of my favourite Yoga studios in the area “Love Yoga Space”. At the start, I did know what to expect and how having goats around will make a difference, but I wanted to give it a try.
What is goat yoga and how it started?
Goat yoga started in 2016 by Lainey Morse she had a farm in Oregan and was going through a challenging period. She always felt the healing energy while she was spending time with her goats. One day she invited some friends over at her farm, one of them is a yoga instructor and had the idea to hold a goat yoga class that night. Since then, Goat yoga became very trendy especially in big cities!
My experience with goat yoga
Goat yoga is a gentle flow that you do while interacting with cute little animals. It’s fun and felt good when goats were jumping on my bag, it’s like having a quick massage by a goat. On the downside, they can poop on your mat. Anyway, pleased do not expect to get hard abs or gain in flexibility, but expect to have a good laugh and a great time doing a gentle flow and connecting to nature via playing with goats. So fun!
